There is an increasing need of community engagement to fight exclusion and radicalization in society. This offers also business opportunities and many companies use Shared value strategies to find win-win situations for business and society. It drives growth and sustainability at the same time. Partnerships have become a new way forward for many stakeholders and companies.
However, paradoxically, when it comes to sustainability reporting under CSRD the topic of S3 Community Engagement is often deselected as a material topic by companies. The effect could be less resources and less priority to community issues, the opposite of what is needed. It is especially so in the Nordics while companies in Spain and other southern European countries still are strong on community engagement but are also quickly developing in climate and circularity.
What are reasons behind these differences? How can we show the importance of community engagement and how can companies and organisations together find the best win-win solutions? How do you find the best partners in your work with community engagement?
Assessing the right partners means finding real alignment in values as well as the people behind the organizations. It is this alignment that enables impact to scale across startups, companies, and investors. During the seminar, new trends and benchmarks will be presented, followed by a discussion on how organizations can build meaningful partnerships to drive sustainable impact.
The event will be hosted by Tommy Borglund (Forever Sustainable) and Amber Theurer (Human AF). Panelists include Per Sandström (Bonito Foundation), Stina Liljekvist (Skandia), Egemen Küçükgül (ECOREC), Luset Pardo (Lumoo), Pierre Vanderkelen (CEO Fluitec), Anjaney Borwankar (CEO Navozyme), Johan Cavallini (Swedish chamber of commerce in Barcelona), and Aida Nauti (Nuni Global).
Welcome!
